Rijksmuseum

No trip to Amsterdam is complete without a visit to the Rijksmuseum. Since it first opened its monumental doors over 200 years ago, the museum has been one of the country’s center points to learn and enjoy Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages and beyond. The Rijksmuseum has a broad collection of Rembrandt, Vermeer and other well-known Dutch masters. However, it is not just Dutch collections on show, the museum also boasts an impressive collection of other European and Asian art.
