Novotel Amsterdam City is officially certified with the ALLSafe label, a distinction that indicates that our hotel has developed a new working method that complies with various strict protocols regarding hygiene and safety. But what does this label exactly entail?
Welcoming and caring for others is at the very heart of what we do and who we are. The health, safety and security of our guests, employees and partners remain our priority while the world is facing this challenging period.
In the past 50 years Accor always had a very high standard regarding hygiene. However, together with Bureau Veritas, an inspection and certification specialist, we have adapted our operational procedures to a new way of working to safeguard the highest level of cleanliness. These procedures are implemented in our hotel and officially audited by NSF International.
The ALLSafe label helps our guests to verify which hotels are compliant with the ALLSafe standards and that they are safe in the hands of our trained and educated staff. We would like to share some of the measures, which we have taken in order to allow us to welcome you in the safest way possible:
– Routing in all public area’s and social distancing markings on the floors
– Disinfection poles available in all public area’s
– Plexiglass screens in the reception and restaurant
– Touch points are cleaned every hour with disinfection spray
– Our rooms are quarantined for 24 hours after every use
– All non-essential items are removed from the rooms, such as the telephone and room directory
– Our kitchen team works with masks and head covers and non-essential staff members are no longer allowed to enter the kitchen area
– Food and non-food is received and disinfected in a designated area before it is send to the kitchen
– Most of our items at breakfast are served to you or individually wrapped and disposed after usage
– We have a special kit available for you at the reception with a mask and a small disinfection gel Note: This is not a complimentary service.
– Our Room service and our reception are available via Business WhatsApp
– The restaurant menu is available via a QR code instead of on paper to avoid any contamination
– Your restaurant order will not be served directly to you. Your order is served in a paper bag, using the takeaway concept
